Pinehurst Concours was a two part project. An Android app for the Samsung Galaxy tablets the judges were using to score the cars entered in the event, and a Web API for the app to report data to.
The Android app was designed to replace a paper score sheet that the judges have been using in the past. The app allows a judge to log in and select which car by class he wants to score. Once he's scored all the cars he's supposed to, he returns the table to the administrator at the event who syncs the scores with Web API, refreshing it to give to the next judge.
The API then does all the heavy lifting to show results and help the administrators on awarding winners to each class of the event.
